{Lowdnes Grove} The Atmosphere of True Class & Romance

Susan and Keith tied the knot at Lowndes Grove this past November with an intimate celebration. We absolutely loved how all the details came together like the bright pops of the coral, orange, dark fuchsia, and eggplant colored florals paired with the eggplant and orange linens. So many touches of elegance and we just can’t get over that dress! Susan, who is a Nordstrom personal stylist, actually first came across her dress in a vintage shop. She added the embellished lace at the bottom to give the dress her own personal design flair and then paired it with the fur which was perfect for the November evening. Simply Stunning!

The handkerchief pictured above that Keith gave to Susan had our eyes glistening.

Their ceremony and reception decor came together so beautifully and we can’t decide which element to claim as our favorite! The cake which was by Jessica at Patrick Properties (follow along with her on Instagram @Jessicamadethis) was truly a work of art and a personal refection of the couple and their love of globe trotting. Each element enhanced the romantic feel of the event down the the bar and lounge furniture selected from Synder Events.

Charleston Wedding Studio provided the planning, florals, and decor including the cafe lighting and the fire pit that was complete with a S’mores bar. By the way, did you see the wooden cross covered in greenery with florals?! Combined with views of Lowndes Grove, we can’t think of a more gorgeous backdrop for a ceremony.

{Lowdnes Grove} MAY THE FORDS BE WITH YOU

Today we are reflecting back on the wedding of Rachel & Tyler… We were enamored by their sweet love story!

As it turns out, their mothers were best friends so these two grew up very close. The families took vacations together and spent holidays with one another. Their friendship evolved into a strong love which is visible just looking through the photos.

Their mothers even walked hand in hand down the aisle… Be still our hearts!

It doesn’t hurt that the couple is also extremely fun and very easy going!

Prior to the wedding Eddie broke his leg. Liz was so worried about making him stand she was willing to reduce portions of the ceremony for his comfort. All Eddie cared about was giving Liz everything she wanted for their special day. .
